For the people in my life who wonder what I do all day, and where I spend my time, here is your answer.  I spend my hours right here slaving away deep in my design endeavors.  

The key is to create that place that makes you feel like creating great solutions, yet still allows for easy access to Facebook on an off task whim.   This is that place for me!

Life will be changing up a bit for me soon, so I figured I better share my current creative spot with everyone before I have to find my new one.  I will get that info out there as the events unfold.  Also, I really enjoy seeing the places that other people work, so I suppose it is time that I showed mine to the people who frequent my site.

Just a typical Sunday afternoon with my man Mac.  He was a bit curious about how the Opelika Daily News site was coming along, so I showed him what I had so far.  

I really can’t wait to finish this site, as I think it will be very cool.  Until then, gaze upon the cuteness [and the biter] that is Mac, our dog.

I know it’s been a while since my last appearance.  I think this puppy might be part of why it has been so long. I just want to get home every day and play with this little guy.  He is our newest family member, Mac [He is named after on my favorite things in the entire world - my Mac computer]. 

He is a handful, and if I could ever spend two seconds away from the little rascal without him peeing on something, then I might actually spend more time creating new blog content.  Once things settle down a bit, content will pick and hopefully convince a few people to continue to visit.  

I guess that fact that I have been pretty busy with freelance work would attribute to the lack of new content as well.  I apologize sort of.  But honestly, I would rather bill hours for design work than spend non-billable hours creating blog content.  Don’t get me wrong though, I really do like updating my darnology dot com.

All that to say…

I will do better.  I promise.

But seriously, Mac is so dang cute.

Hello. I am back from all the wedding festivities. I went down to south Texas and came back to Dallas with a wife. Funny how that works. So after a fantastic wedding day and a extremely fun honeymoon, I am back.

I have full time access to my beloved Mac, and the content will be back for real this time! I am excited about all these new changes in my life, but it is nice to be back in the swing of things. I am especially excited to get started on some upcoming projects that should be a lot of fun to work on.

In the mean time, be checking back. I will be a much more diligent blog owner/operator now that I am home again. Thanks for sticking with me!

Wow.  What a crazy couple of weeks.  I have to apologize for completely falling off the face of the earth since Janurary 30 [according to the date of my last post].  I have been in the moving process, and finally, I am officially a Texan again.  It feels good to be back in the southern states again for sure.

I have started my new job here in Dallas, so that’s been keeping me away from Darnology a bit more than I would like.  I just wanted to tell the online world that I am back in action again, and still have some new projects coming down the pipe, so be on the lookout for those over the next month or so.

I promise not to get away from the site for so long next time.  I felt kind of lonely without my Darnology time.

Oh, and I am getting married in 15 days as well.  Yikes.
