I was just tootin’ around the net today and I ran across this great article in BusinessWeek online. It is so refreshing to have some major publication say the same things that I have been a huge advocate of for a long time. The article is entitled, “The 10 Commandments of Web Design”. Without a doubt my favorite on the list is numero uno.
1. Thou shalt not abuse Flash.
Amen. Preach it BusinessWeek.
Now you need to go read the rest of the article here.

As of this past Wednesday, June 11th, I am officially an Uncle. My wife’s sister had her baby girl, so that has become the new hot news around the family circle.
In the mix of all this, Emily’s sister Leslie wanted to have a way to share all the news about their families new activities involved with Baby Campbell. Being the wonderful uncle that I am, I set up a little blog style site for them to keep everyone in the loop on all things Tipp related.

This is a super simple little blog site, but I really like how it turned out. It is really clean and simple, and pretty easy on the eyes. Just a fun little project. Check it out if you would like…

Working through some other pieces, I kind of came up with this desktop image randomly. I am currently using it on my machine. Perhaps someone else would like it to use also. If so, here you go.

You can get the full resolution image here [1600 x 1024].
Note: You can use this image as you wish. Just remember where you got it. Photoshop doesn’t just crank this stuff out on it’s own…

Hello everyone. It has been a bit since the last post, but I have been having some fun with pixel art lately, and thought I should share some cool resources with everyone!

I just finished adding a link in my work page to the new website for Opelika Daily News. I figured I would put up a free plug for Jerry to show off his new site. He seems to be pretty happy with it, so go check it out. It is a great community site for the city of Opelika, Alabama.
As an ex-resident of that area, I can say it is a fine place to live [or go to college], and this site is the best way online to experience all the things that Opelika has to offer.
