A gate repairman came on Wed. and checked out the malfunctioning north gate.  He said the gate had been hit by a car, bending the gate and causing the malfunction.  We have contacted American Fence to come look at the gate about repairs.  The gate may need to be removed and straightened.  It is being left open at the present time to prevent further damage.

The north gate has been malfunctioning.  A repairman is coming to fix it on Wed.,  July 28th.

The algae pool problem has been resolved.  The water is now clear and blue.

Touch up painting is being done in the hallways.

For those of you who use the pool, you may have noticed that the water appears green.  We have been battling an algae problem.  Many pools in the metro area have been having this problem.  The frequent rains we’ve been having is the greatest contributor to this problem.  We are trying different remedies to try and clear up this problem.   Please be patient with this issue as we try to resolve it.

The entries to all 3 residential buildings will be spot cleaned this week.

The north entry door to Bldg. # 1 is scheduled to be repaired Friday, July 23rd.

Exercise equipment in the fitness center is under repair.  The job should be finished on Thursday, July 22nd.

The pool was reopened on Sunday, July 17th. 

Building # 1 north entry door is under repair.  A new electronic strike plate has been ordered.  It is scheduled in come in on Friday, July 23rd.  Residents will need to enter the building from the south entrance.  Sorry for the inconvenience.

Touch up painting is  being done in the hallways of all the buildings.

Carpet shampooing is scheduled for the entryways of all the buildings this week.  It is for cleaning up spots noted in the entryways.

Damage caused from the thunderstorm on Wed. July 13 forced the closing of the swimming pool.  The pool needed to be drained down, the damage dealt with and then the pool refilled.  It will take a day or two to bring the water back in balance.  Sorry for the inconvenience.

The parking lot will be striped on Wednesday and Thursday, July 14 & 15.  On Wed. please park only in west and north parking stalls.  The opposite on Thurs.  No parking in the clubhouse circle on Wed.   This will occur during the daytime hours.

June 17th, Jens from Continental Pool came to work on the pool heater.  After working on it for a lenghty period discovered the heater was unable to be fixed.  He recommended a new heater.  The old heater had reached the end of it’s life expectancy.  We are now in the process of getting bids for a new heater.  The cost will probably be in excess of $3,000.

The storm shelter is being cleaned and disinfected today.

Meadowbrook Management for Belle Meade Condo Assoc.

The Douglas County Health Dept. under Nebraska State Statues have rules concerning the operation of the swimming pool here at Belle Meade.  If any of these rules are broken, our pool operator license can be revoked.   There can be no glass containers in the pool area, in the pool or on the deck.  There are no animals allowed anywhere in the pool area.  There will be no food or drinks allowed in the pool, only on the deck area.  No diving in our pool, and no running on the deck area.  No one under the age of 16 years can use the pool without an adult in attendance.  We have been seeing infractions of these rules and would hate to loose our operators  license to keep the pool open because of these infractions.  The pool is inspected frequently during the summer by the Health Depart.  We are asking everyone to please abide by the rules and monitor for any violators.  Please notify the office if you see any of these rules being broke.  Thank you.

The office will be closed Friday, June 18.  Vicki has to attend a pool operators recertification class in Lincoln that day.  The clubhouse will be open.
